Today I took my first trip to Book People (Lamar & 6th). My wife and I treated ourselves! I picked up an indian smurf figure and this FANTASTIC book titled Revisionaries A Decade of Art In Tokion. If I were you, I'd totallypick up a copy.

Living the dream!

It's been awhile...here's a quick breakdown on what's been going on:
Solo Exhibition / Portfolio Review / Graduated / Moved / Gypsied around Texas / Wedding / Honeymoon / Moved

Now I'm finally settled in Austin, TX with my lovely new bride!

We are very happy to be in the same city and even in the same apartment. We both just graduated from different universities and have been living apart for almost 5 of the 8 years we dated (uhh yes that's a long time).

Now here are some pics of our new place!



You can see more of the married life here. It's so much fun! We've been playing the Wii and exploring Austin together.

Currently I'm freelancing, but we're both looking for full time jobs and putting glitter on our resumes.

A bit late on the post, but here's a recap from my SOOOPER fun Halloween deejay show that took place in Columbus, MS at the newly revamped Princess Theater! It was the first big event held in the theater in over 6 months and it was an amazing turnout. Deejays Matthew Ess and YOUNIVERSE KID were rad fun and the dance floor was bouncin' all night!

My small crew of two friends and Will Howard of GTR Productions constructed and 8'x8' wall of LED tubes and a hole in the middle for the laser to launch out! It turned out RAD!

AMOS KENNEDY / BEDAZZLED!

This weekend I ventured over to Gordo/Tuscaloosa, Alabama to serve as artist assistant for the Kentuck Arts Festival. Having met Amos a handful of times before I knew it would be wild. Amos is an amazing spirit full of wisdom and laughs.

Amos is a letterpress printer residing in Gordo, AL (just a few miles east of me). He is so kind and sure knows how to be a host. Next time you're in the south head to Gordo for a visit and its guaranteed to be a good time.

Watching amos in action was absolutely incredible. His personality and business skills are displayed as he interacts with the customers, gathers a crowd, and even dances on top of his press. The trip left me Bedazzled!
