Second Chance Zombie Dance

This past weekend The Hooded Deer (my deejay moniker) returned to Mi$$i$$ippi for a Halloween dance party! For the second Halloween in a row I deejayed/promoted a party at The Princess Theater in Columbus, MS. It was a total blast seeing all my friends, working hard, and dancing all night.

Teaming up with long time friends GTR Productions and Pyroglyphics we constructed a 22 ft. tall skeleton composed of wood, led tubes, led cans for eyes, and a laser that shot from its mouth!

Last year about 250 people showed and this year around 750 lined the street to get in! It was so crazy!

HALLOWZINE!

Hallowzine is, you guessed it, a Halloween-themed zine. Clever, right? This is a collaborative project between myself and the typemaster-flex Chris Piascik. Hallowzine is jam-packed with original/never-before-seen drawings, some by Chris, some by me and a bunch that we worked together on!

Each zine features a screen-printed cover and was constructed by our hands! It's only $8!

Hallowzine was printed in an edition of 50.

The Ruby Suns merch

Last night I was fortunate to hang out with Ryan & Bevan of The Ruby Suns. I've been e-mailing with Ryan for several months on these shirts. According to the guys printing shirts in New Zealand is a bit of a pain and expensive.

So I volunteered to help and turned them towards the rad dudes at Mama's Sauce. Once again the florida boys did a fantastic job printing these. Ultra soft and great registration.

The band will be selling all three color ways on their current tour where they are supporting the Dodos! Check out myspaces for tour dates.

If you haven't listened to The Ruby Suns, fix that! Their previous record will soon be available on vinyl.
